POSTGRADUATE COURSE 

As one of the largest mathematics department in the united kingdom with over 40 members of staff the school can offer energetic and diverse postgraduate. There are formal and formal seminars colloquaia and samll study group in the various areas of the school research activity many in collaboration with other colleges of the university of london. We have excellent computing facilities including a network of linux workstation some of which are situated in the office for research students.

Many academic visitors come to the school for either short visits or longer period and there are numerous postdoctoral research staff working within it usually funded by research council. In addtion there are always over coffee in the school common room . The london mathematical society collection the royal astronomical scociety library and the royal statistical society library. The research enviroment is further enhanced by weekly seminars in pure mathematcs , dynamical systems probability statistics , algebra relativity .
