On its 10th anniversary, the trium global executive MBA programme, an alliance of three university , has announced plans to expand the programme, adding a second cohort starting in September 2012

                 Internatinonal collaborations are perhaps the only route to a diverse and contemporary classroom. At a time when countries are setting a common agenda to tackle global issues, the TRIUM global executive MBA programme has been blending the strengths of three university -- NEW YORK UNIVERSITY Stern School of Business (NYU ) , HEC  paris and london school of economics and political science . Student receive one degree , jointly conferred by the three university . 

              Erin O'Brien, assistant dean, TRIUM global executive MBA programme and NYU global programmes , points out that TRIUM integrates international economics political and social policy into the business curriculum through the participation of LSE.

              That participants attend six intensive modules, hosted at each of the three alliance schools new york , paris london, as well as two additional , rotating modules.With the addition of a second cohort, the allow studetns to spend more time in emerging markets, as these rotating modules are currently held in chenni and shanghai.

BSC IN INTERNATIONAL MARKETING

School of management invites applications for its four year full time BSC in internaional marketing. The programme involves an international placement in the third year. The international element is delivered through a partnership with an international partner university , where their students study along with southampton students in the second year and southampton students subsequently study in france or spain in the third year. Students  then return to their home university to complete the fourth and final year. The fees for the october session is £ 10,820. The one planet MBA from the university of Exeter Business School launches in September 2011 in partnerships with WWF, the global conservation organisation, producing planet minded business  leaders. Ten major  companies have declared their support for the one planet MBA through a new scholarship programme. The companies include canon, coca cola. The cooperative Group , IBM, IKEA, Lafarge, Lloyds TSB, Nokia, Sony and Thomson Reuters. Awards of £5,000 are now available together with the opportunity to work with the company on an internship or consultancy assignment as part of the MBA.

REQUIREMENT :

Candidates who have received an offer for the programme may apply by submitting a personal statement explaining why you should be considered for the scholarship.

VERBAL REASONING 

            In  the verbal section, students can highlight sentence in a passage testing reading comprehension. This is helpful to enable closer focus on a key idea in that passage. A very important change  is that the emphais of the new GRE  will be on vocabulary as it is used rather then the usage of vocabulary in isolation. So students don't stress out on mentioned long  vocabulary lists rather than  memorising a better sense  of the appropriate  usage  of a word  skills that  will matter in the real world of work and graduate studies in the US and other parts of the world.

          The new text completion section will test the ability to assess and make in ferences based on what students  have read in a passage. Given a reduced  emphasis on individual vacabulary, students will need  to interpret  and evaluate the larger grain of what an author is trying to argue, so focus on the meaning of the entrie sentence  rather than individual words will be tested. In particular,  this move will ensure the relevance of GRE  for those going for studies at the postgraduate  level and even for MBA programmes or business studies.
